Those of you who have been at one of the Motocross races can only confirm that this exciting, highly extreme sport is requiring efforts of the body that are really at the edge of what it can cope with. In the last few years the awareness has grown with the riders to protect their body as much as possible to the extreme loads they need to cope with. Today it is believed that 50% of the Motocross riders are wearing braces.

| DJO has helped building this awareness on injury prevention and is committed to continue to do so.
In 2003 we entered the market with a strong, well-organised initiative of sponsoring the DonJoy/Sinisalo/Yamaha team. Our main goal was the introduction of the DonJoy brand name & the new motocross brace, the Armor and we believe our brand recognition increased from 5% to 80% within the professional circuit.
After two years of sponsoring a team there was a unique opportunity to work together with the organisers of the Grand Prix Races who are responsible for the set up and organisation of the paddock Village around the circuit. Since 2004 we have an exclusive presence at the Paddock area at the GP races where we can promote and sell our products
The 5x5 booth is at a great location close to the action. DonJoy is committed to further improve and develop products to make sure they offer the riders a maximum of protection with a maximum of comfort. |
| Team FMX4Ever was there for 2 freestyle shows, the main point of attention for this team. Nick Francklin came out kicking and there was nobody that could challenge him for the win. Nick was the man in Mettet. Francklin rides with a knee injury, but thanks to Donjoy braces he manages to keep competing at the highest level. |
